Master Key System

Maspeth Lock and Safe Co. specializes in computer generated and CNC cut keys. We can create custom master key systems for almost any application, from a 2 family house in Queens to a skyscraper in Manhattan. Reduce the number or keys you need to carry and increase your security at the same time. Each key is stamped with the key number and issue number. It will also save you time because if you ever need a duplicate key just call us with the key number and you will have it the next day (shipped via FedEx) cut on a CNC machine, stamped and guaranteed to work.

Key Benefits

  • One Master-key accesses all the locks in a system, while other keys open only specified locks.

  • Provides you with the option of a single-key access to your property: home, business, and vehicles. Locks are available keyed-different, masterkeyed or keyed-alike, so you decide who has access to each entrance.

  • Keyed-Alike locks use identical keys, enabling a single key to open all locks in a system. Keyed-Alike systems can be integrated into master key systems.

Below is an example of a building where each door is individually keyed with one master key to control each floor and a grand master key to open every door.

With each master key system, we provide a booklet that allows you to keep track of who keys were issued to.

ATTENTION FLEET MANAGERS!!

Did you ever have to cut a padlock off a truck because the driver didn’t show up for work and he had the keys with him? Let Maspeth Lock and Safe Co. set up a master key system for your padlocks. Not only will you have a master key to open the locks but you can call us with either the truck number or the key number and we can make you the individual key for the lock. If you are concerned that the driver with the key will not return to work, don’t throw away the padlock, we can rekey it to a different change (individual) key while still retaining your master key. If a lock should get lost we can make up a new lock to the original specifications so there’s no need to issue new keys.
